Many eye diseases and disorders have no symptoms or early warning signs. Preventive eye care is important to everyone because eye conditions and diseases that can destroy healthy vision can strike at any time.
Early detection and treatment of eye problems can save your sight.
The Community Clinic provides vision care services. If the primary care provider determines that vision care services are warranted, the patient will be referred to a vision care provider. Patients see an optometrist initially for assessment and, if needed, will be referred to an ophthalmologist for further treatment.
The first pair of glasses is provided free when needed. This is possible because of a grant received from the Farrnbacher Memorial Fund.
